This gallery contains images taken at Dockyard 800 which was held at the Historic Dockyard Portsmouth. This stunning event brought together approx 800 years of history, with many people in authentic costume surrounded by historical artifacts and the wonders of the Historic Dockyard. With so much history around we cannot guarantee that the content of any of the photographs are authentic to one period. But we can confirm that Henry VIII did NOT have a ship called The Victory and HMS Warrior was NOT in the English Civil War nor was there any tanks available during The Napoleonic Wars.
